simplifygastro was born out of frustration. Too many tools, too much complexity, too little relevance for everyday restaurant life. We changed that.
Founded to solve a real problem
In 2021, Thiemo Bleeken faced a problem thousands of restaurant operators know: the phone rang nonstop, reservations were jotted down on slips of paper, double bookings happened anyway – and no available software truly solved it.
The existing systems were either too expensive, too complex, or too generic. Nothing was really built for the restaurant industry. So he built it himself.
Today, more than 500 restaurants in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland use simplifygastro – from small trattorias to restaurant chains. What they all share: less effort, more revenue.
